Do you wake up every morning feeling the stinging, burning sensation of rosacea? Does it feel impossible to find topical treatments that actually work, leaving you feeling hopeless?

There is hope for relief!

At Novuskin, you can find relief from redness, inflammation, and rosacea skin lesions, and even remove the blood vessels that leave your skin looking swollen and irritated with scientific, technology-based skincare that treats more than just the symptoms.

No matter your skin type or color, there is a rosacea treatment that’s right for you.

Rosacea is a skin problem characterized by a red face and cheeks. But rosacea is more than just skin redness, and the symptoms can progress as the condition worsens.

What Are the Symptoms of Rosacea?

Rosacea is a skin problem characterized by a red face and cheeks. But rosacea is more than just skin redness, and the symptoms can progress as the condition worsens.

Rosacea in women and men can cause:

  • Stinging, burning sensation, often on the cheeks, forehead, and chin
  • Frequent facial flushing – flare ups of inflamed, red cheeks
  • Difficulty covering up red cheeks with makeup
  •  Raised red spots on the face – skin lesions which are small bumps and sores, called acne rosacea (a non-itchy, pus-fulled rash)
  • Visible red and purple blood vessels which appear just below the skin
  • Enlarged oil glands which can cause rhinophyma (a bulbous nose), more common with rosacea in men

Where does rosacea appear on body

Rosacea usually appears on the face, but sometimes, people have symptoms on their neck, scalp, chest, back, and arms.
The most commonly affected areas on the face:

Cheeks

Nose

Chin

Forehead

Under nose

Around a mouth

If you’re experiencing rosacea anywhere on your face or body, there is help!

Best Treatments for Rosacea

Topical creams and ointments do little to control the symptoms or spread of rosacea. At best, they may offer temporary relief from the flush of redness of the skin.

At Novuskin, we use the most advanced, FDA-approved technology and products to help you finally get relief, and get back your confidence.

  • First time here. Very clean and professional setting. The girls who I worked with Nicole first explained everything in detail and made sure we focused on my concerns with my skin which I high appreciated and Sabrina did my treatment. She was very knowledgeable about what treatments would work best in the future with my skin and age. Over all highly recommend.

Who typically gets rosacea?

Rosacea is most common in adults in their 30’s and later. Sometimes rosacea begins earlier but it’s very uncommon in teens or children.

Rosacea can be brought on by certain triggers like times of high stress and certain medications. Heredity also plays a role in the onset of rosacea.

Rosacea is common in both men and women, but rhinophyma, the thickening of the skin leading to a bulbous nose, is more common in men between the ages of 50-70.

Can rosacea be cured?

At this time, there is no cure for rosacea. The condition can sometimes be symptomatically managed with the use of antibiotics and topical ointments. The most significant relief comes from technological treatments such as light therapy and laser treatments.

Will my rosacea go away on its own?

Unfortunately, no. While you may find you have seasons of worse flare-ups, rosacea does not go away permanently on its own.

What makes my rosacea worse or spread?

Rosacea often begins in a localized area and spreads out onto the cheeks, nose, and other parts of the face. Rosacea is progressive and usually continues to spread with time.

There are factors that can exacerbate your symptoms. Heat and exercise, eating spicy foods, drinking wine or alcohol, and using harsh skin or hair care products can make your redness worse.

If you suffer from rosacea, try to keep your skin cool in the shower, buy soft linens and face cloths, use a silk pillowcase, and try not to touch your face.

Should I take medication for rosacea?

Your dermatologist may prescribe medication for your rosacea that helps to control acne outbreaks. Other medications temporarily restrict blood vessels to decrease skin flushing. No medication can cure rosacea.

Variety of treatments for darker skin types

While IPL Therapy isn’t recommended for darker skin types, laser rosacea treatments are usually tolerated well by all skin tones. Chemical peels are also indicated for darker skin. No matter your skin type or color, there is help for your rosacea.
