TriBella Machine
TriBella Venus Versa is a machine developed by Venus Concept brand. Venus Concept Venus Versa™ is a facial rejuvenation device approved by the FDA as a multi-application tool that can be used in aesthetic and cosmetic procedures and by certified treatment providers. The applicators are cleared by the FDA for the treatment of benign pigmented epidermal and cutaneous lesions and treatment of benign cutaneous vascular lesions. What is a TriBella treatment?
A TriBella treatment is a facial that uses three powerful technologies to give you a photofacial, anti aging skin treatment, and skin resurfacing treatment all in one session. The technologies of IPL, Radio Frequency, and PEMF are each used to provide an exceptional array of benefits for healthier looking skin.
What does a TriBella treatment look like?
At your treatment, your technician will thoroughly cleanse your skin. Next, they will apply protective eyewear to make sure your eyes are not damaged by the high-intensity light of the IPL treatment. IPL is applied with a handheld device that emits a high intensity burst of light onto the skin.
Radio Frequency is applied using a circular device. Finally, RF with pulsed electro magnetic fields offers a superior tightening effect.
Your treatment takes about 45 minutes and is non-invasive. The IPL may cause mild pain but is typically well tolerated. The intensity of the light can be adjusted to meet your comfort level. Following your treatment, your skin will be moisturized.
Is TriBella safe? What are the side effects and contraindications?
TriBella is very safe for those who are good candidates for treatment. For the IPL portion of the treatment, Venus Concept technology has built in safety features that ensure simultaneous cooling to keep you comfortable.
If you experience any of these conditions, you may not be able to have TriBella treatments:
- Implants in the treatment area
- Photosensitivity
- Autoimmune disorders that can be triggered by light
- Excessively tanned skin
Unfortunately, dark skin tones should avoid IPL treatments (and therefore TriBella), as they can have adverse effects on the skin tone.
TriBella is not suitable for pregnant women.
The IPL portion of the treatment may cause a slight amount of pain. If you feel any discomfort, it may be as though very tiny rubber bands are snapping your skin. Each of the technologies used is FDA approved for the indicated uses and is non-invasive. Following your treatment, you may experience mild redness that should fade in a few hours.
Who’s a good candidate for a TriBella treatment?
TriBella is used by customers of all ages, including teenagers. TriBella addresses many of the most common skin complaints so good candidates may be those with skin aging or premature aging, people who suffer from Rosacea or dyschromia, and those with hyperpigmentation, age spots or sun spots. It’s also an excellent treatment for people struggling with acne breakouts. For anyone who wants to improve their skin’s tone and texture, TriBella can offer excellent, non-invasive results.
Unfortunately, dark skin tones should avoid IPL treatments (and therefore TriBella), as they can have adverse effects on the skin tone.

How do you prepare?
Before coming in for your treatment, make sure you refrain from waxing or other hair removal services on your treatment area for at least 48 hours. Avoid sun exposure or tanning beds for at least 72 hours before your treatment. If you’re taking medication for acne or other skin concerns, speak to your doctor before you have IPL. Make sure you haven’t used any chemical peels on your treatment area for 4 weeks prior to receiving the laser therapy.
Aftercare
You may feel a ‘sunburnt’ sensation for up to 24 hours following your treatment. To minimize discomfort, apply cool compresses to the area as necessary. Sleep on your back with your head elevated until the pain subsides.
Some areas of your skin may appear darker in the days following your treatment. Allow these areas to slough off naturally – don’t rub or exfoliate.
It is extremely important that you protect the treated area from the sun for 4 weeks after your treatment. Use a high-quality SPF of at least 30 every single day. Wear a hat and sunglasses if you plan to be outdoors.
How soon can you see results faster from a TriBella facial treatment?
You’ll be able to see some visible results from your treatment immediately, with the full results appearing over the next 3-4 weeks. However, to see optimal results, you may require 2-3 treatments, and touch-up treatments every 4-6 months.

How long will the results last?
Optimal TriBella results typically last 4-6 months and may require touch-up treatments to maintain the look.
What’s the difference between TriBella Laser Treatment and IPL Photofacials?
An IPL Photofacial uses IPL technology, just like TriBella. However, TriBella facials also incorporate nano fractional radio frequency and pulsed electromagnetic fields to address many additional skin concerns.
Can TriBella address excess fat?
TriBella laser is not meant to reduce excess stubborn fat.
Can TriBella help remove my stretch marks?
While Venus Viva is an excellent body treatment to help address stretch marks, TriBella is not used as a stretch mark treatment. If you have stretch marks, your skin will be better treated by booking a Venus Viva or Frax Laser treatment instead.
